My “great idea” and How I’m Creating My Own Security

I’d say that I’ve been successful at my chosen profession for quite a while now. I have all the things I need to provide for my family. More than most for sure. I say this not to brag, but to lay out the context of my story.

I’ve always felt that I have so much more potential than the effort I put out. So, all my perceived success was just me performing on autopilot. However, every goal that I did set for myself, which really isn’t too many now that I think about it, I’ve always achieved. I’d achieve those goals mostly because, I literally never even considered that I wouldnt or couldnt. I just didn’t have time or room in my head for doubt.

I’d break down my goal into steps, then formulate a plan to accomplish those steps. Some steps were harder than others and some required more steps than others. No matter what it took I gave each step my total undivided attention, like I was obsessed with that task. I’m sure my wife can attest to that. Looking back now I ever once thought I couldn’t. When I’d hit a wall or obstacle I’d just formulate a plan into different steps to take. But again, that was for the few goals I set for myself. Honestly, I never realized that until I sat down to write this blog.

I’d have all these “great ideas”, but never followed through with them. Months or even years after the “great idea” with no action, BOOM- someone else is doing it or producing it!  It’s happened far too many times to be a coincidence.  So I started this business as a step toward my new goal: to be free. Financially free.

Strange this is, once I started this business I began to see opportunity everywhere. Opportunities to actually develop my “great ideas”. Except this time I have a goal, I have a plan and I know the steps that I need to do.
